To summarize, we contribute Deep Patch Visual Odometry, a new method for tracking camera motion from video. DPVO uses a novel recurrent network designed for sparse patch-based correspondence. DPVO outperforms all prior work across several evaluation datasets, while running 3x faster than the previous state-of-art using less than a third of the memory.
