The AMZ is a student team from ETH Zurich which participates yearly at the worldwide «Formula Student Electric» competition. Within a race season, twenty-five active students built, tested and improved an electric race car. 

The car has four self-developed wheel hub motors, a complete aerodynamic package, partially decoupled hydraulic suspension and self-developed inverters. We tried to bring the mechanical potential to the asphalt by using a complex controlling structure, consisting of traction control, torque vectoring, state estimation algorithms and a full suspension model.
