1. Introduction to Pickers and the Application

Pickers are a type of iOS control that you’ve likely used if you’ve had an iPhone or iPod touch for a while. They are controls with spinning dials, used for tasks like inputting dates in the Calendar app or setting a timer in the Clock app. Pickers can be more complex than other iOS controls, as they can display one or multiple dials and can show either text or images.
