本二抗产品最显著的用途是用于间接ELISA方法进行非IgM亚型单克隆抗体细胞株筛选：在单克隆抗体中如果筛选到IgM亚型的抗体非常棘手，本产品将IgM亚型单克隆抗体细胞株扼杀在摇篮中，基本原理是本二抗不会针对IgM亚型产生反应，因此筛选的时候得到的细胞株全部为非IgM亚型。
