7月22日至24日，纳米比亚大使率团访问义乌，期间与副市长李旭航会面。李副市长提到义乌国际商贸城非洲馆已引入11国商品，唯独缺少纳米比亚特色产品，并希望大使能协助引进。纳米比亚大使则表示将把此次访问信息反馈给本国政府，推动双方经贸合作。
On July 22 to 24, Namibian Ambassador, led a delegation to Yiwu for an official visit. Mr Li Xuhang, the vice mayor of Yiwu municipal people government, met the delegation.
Mr Li Xuhang figured there were more than 11 African countries¡¯ commodities had been introduced into the Africa Hall of Yiwu International Trade Mart, but no commodities from Namibia . He hoped Ambassador could help and introduce some characteristic Namibian commodites to Yiwu.
Namibian Ambassador said he got a deep impression after visiting Yiwu International Trade Mart and local well-known enterprises. And he figured he would pass all detailed information he had seen and learned in Yiwu to Namibian Government, and let them know the importance of the development of economic and trade relations between Namibia and Yiwu. He also promised Namibia would be the 12th of African countries who exhibits commodities in Africa Hall of Yiwu Market.
