Yiwu Ranked the 8th Among China’s Top Hundred Powerful Counties

n the 8th evaluation report on economic basic competitive force and scientific development of China’s counties released in Zengcheng, Guangzhou city on July 6th, 2008. Yiwu is among top ten, as well as Cixi, Shaoxing and Yuyao. It is reported that 2001county-level economic units participated in the 8th evaluation oneconomic basic competitive force and scientific development of China’scounties. And regional economic powerful group of Jiangyin, Kunshan,Zhangjiagang and Changshu of Jiangsu Province took the first place. Thenext are Wujiang of Jiangsu Province, Cixi and Shaoxing of ZhejiangProvince, Taicang of Jiangsu Province, Jinjiang of Fujian Province,Yixing of Jiangsu Province, Yiwuand Yuyao of Zhejiang Province, Rongcheng of Shandong Province.Compared with the 7th evaluation report, the 8th list of top tenpowerful counties is the same as the last one.
