AutoCAD 3D Orbit Commands: A Comprehensive Guide
1. Introduction to 3D Orbit Commands
Since AutoCAD 2000, there has been a set of seven commands for dynamically establishing views in 3D space. These commands are 3DORBIT, 3DCORBIT, 3DSWIVEL, 3DDISTANCE, 3DCLIP, 3DPAN, and 3DZOOM. You can initiate any of them through the 3D Orbit toolbar or by entering their names on the command line. Although they are separate commands, they are often used as if they were options of a single command because they are linked to 3DORBIT, and are thus referred to as the 3D Orbit commands.
