一位校长通过25篇反思博文记录自己试图改掉性急这一缺点的过程,尽管在对待师生上取得进步,但在管理干部方面效果有限。他深入思考原因,意识到问题在于认识未触及心灵和改正措施缺乏持久性。引用古语强调改变本性的困难,指出管理者需具备非凡毅力和包容性,以促进团队的发展。

“一中的花三中的草四中的流氓八中的基佬”,困惑老师的不是顽皮的学生,而是整个教学环境圈养了所有学生。

人非圣贤,孰能无过。即便圣贤,也有过错,更何况我这个普通之人呢。我这个人,最大的缺点就是性子很急,办事过于追求效率,很多时候没有注意工作的方式方法,忽略了必要的民主和尊重,给同仁带来不必要的工作压力。

子曰:过而不改,是谓过也。任校长至今的八年来,为了克服这个缺点,我结合工作实际先后撰写了25篇反思与总结博文,以求改掉这个缺点。我写了哪25篇博文呢?

2010年写了《累得有点急》,2011年写了《杀熟》,2013年写了《周期性烦躁》和《老毛病又犯了》,2014年写了《悲观人性》《失态》《要尊重老师》《居功很难不自傲》《又一次失态》《得理也要饶人》《近来有点纵容自己的脾气》《学生批评了校长》,2015年写了《向敬业的老教师致谦》《坏情绪》《有话好好说》《苛求》,2016年写了《冤枉了一个老师》《还是少些坏情绪好》,2017年写了《容易犯的两个错误》《情商不高》《贰过》《少发无名火》《怕他难堪》,2018年写了《失态》《宽容》。

于老师和学生而言,我八年的努力还是有所收获,如今的我,基本能够做到平静和理性地对待师生。于干部而言,我八年的努力收效甚微,仍涛声依旧。

细细翻看这些博文,我陷入深深的思索之中:八年的努力,为何效果不佳?为何没有彻底改掉自己的这个坏毛病呢?根源在我,在我的哪个方面呢?是自己没有认识到这个坏毛病的危害性吗?不是,这25篇博文里有之;是自己没有采取措施改正吗?也不是,这25篇博文里有之。

看来,问题出在两个方面,一个是自己并没有真正认识到这个坏毛病的危害性,仅限于理论层面的认识,这种认识没有触及到自己的心灵层面。教育是一颗灵魂唤醒另一颗灵魂。没有触及到自己灵魂层面的教育,怎能产生效果呢?另一个是自己采取的措施不坚决不长久,很多措施都是临时性的,甚至是应付性的。

老子曰:民之从事,常于几成而败之,故慎终如始,则无败事。回顾八年来改正举措的低效原因,不在举措本身,而在自己的毅力不够。很多时候,自己会自觉不自觉地掉入“好了伤疤忘了疼”的泥沼,并步入犯错——反思——改正——犯错——反思——改正的恶性循环。

古人云:江山易改,本性难移。原来的我,对这句话感悟不深,思考不多,并认为自己性子急的这个缺点应该能够很快改掉。其实不然,何谓本性?即天性,是人固有的性质和个性。要想改掉本性中的缺点,要有非常规的毅力和举措,故有“性格决定命运”的说法。

管理是一门大学问,而性子急则是管理的大忌之一。若我这个毛病早些改了,学校的发展或许会比现在好许多。管理者在管理过程中要善于借智,要多些民主、多些尊重、多些包容,如此才能“众人拾柴火焰高”。在上级的支持和包容下,学校发展到今天非常不容易,师生尤其干部付出了巨大的辛劳。身为校长,要十分珍惜这个来之不易的局面,怎么珍惜呢?从改掉自己的坏毛病做起,不管有多难,我就不信“改不了”。
