Notation-Invariant Patch-Based Wall Detector in Architectural Floor Plans
1. Introduction
Detecting and segmenting walls in architectural floor plans is a crucial task. A notation - invariant method has been developed, which is an evolution of a previous approach. This method is a statistical patch - based detector, different from traditional vectorization - based structural techniques.

The following table shows the best wall - segmentation results for (SVM - WD) and [1] + iNorm + BSM using the best system configurations, compared with the baseline approach ([1]).
