Now, I am a medical student in university. In the last winter holiday, I taken part in a training project, which is organized for senior student, quite suitable for me. During the study time, professor Wang, coming from Nanjing medical university, given us an excellent lecture about health promotion. The lecture was hold in the main hall, where are many advanced equipment, including central air condition. Therefore, although the project was hold in winter, we need not to worry about the low temperature. The lecture introduced the global condition of health and disease, especially the infectious disease caused by globalization. For instance, tourist may be infected by some vital virus when they go on holiday in other countries. Such virus will be taken into their mother land when they go back home. As a clinic medical student, I learned a lot about how to diagnose disease and cure patients in the past study. However, I have never think about the negative effect from globalization, which is always be considered as a good phenomenon. Therefore, this lecture is very impressive for me.
