Oracle VM Manager Installation

Mount the ISO file to an existing directory using the following commands:

# mkdir mount-point
# mount -o loop OracleVM-Manager-version.iso mount-point

Configure Env:

# ./createOracle.sh

Remove existing MySQL and MySQL home directory "/u01/app/oracle/mysql/data" if it exists.

# yum remove mysql-server

Install:

# ./runInstaller.sh

Passwords:
There are no default passwords for any users. The passwords to use for Oracle VM Manager, Database, and Oracle WebLogic Server have been set by you during this installation. In the case of a default install, all passwords are the same.


Oracle VM Manager UI:
  https://localhost:7002/ovm/console
Log in with the user 'admin', and the password you set during the installation.

Restart Oracle VM Manager:

# /sbin/service ovmm restart

Checking cluster configuration:

# cat /etc/ocfs2/cluster.conf

How do I configure the cluster service?

# /etc/init.d/o2cb configure

Check cluster status:

#service o2cb status

Start a VM:

#cd /OVS/Repositories/F34C287480CC426296F5116B4E55578A/ovs/VirtualMachines/0004fb000006000085c7264eefb656e6

#xm create -c vm.cfg
