Key responsibilities:

This position will develop, maintain and support databases for EA China online projects. It requires database knowledge with significant expertise in Data Modeling, Data Architecture and Database support experience including:
Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products
Do data modeling (Logical and Physical)and architecture
Data Migration
SQL and Code tuning
Gather Volumetric information for Capacity Planning
Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle related products
Participate in establishing and maintaining sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
Implement and maintain database security
Do application tuning and performance monitoring
Setup and maintain documentation and standards
Work as part of a team and provide 7x24 support when required
Do general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams
Participate in Disk layout and Disk capacity planning
Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support
Set up and monitoring of data replication
Help Monitoring and maintenance of standby databases
Help design and develop tools for Database Services team
Performance Load testing.
Install, configure and setup Database and Real Application Cluster.
Participate in building Data Warehouse and Reporting system
Work with development team extensively.
