I tried Tone-mapping a little bit. The first try I took is the simple “Spatially Varying Nonlinear Scale ” which is a global tone-mapping operator. GLOBAL, means no local contrast information will be handled, each pixel will be processed according to global information. Let’s see:
The first one is the original picture. With the two tone-remapped pictures, you can see the whole picture color tone obviously differs among the three.
However, LOCAL tone-remapping operators are much more interesting… not enough time now.. maybe later :P
