昨天有一件怪事发生在我身上。我在上学途中遇见一位陌生人 Something strange happened to me yesterday,on my way to school,i met a stranger.
我回答 I replied , I answered
你欠我一百块对不对 you owe me 100$,don't you
let's go,shall we?
(you should) study,will you?
i owe you nothing.
根据她的说法，我应当更有进职心 According to her,i should be more ambitious.
就某方面来说她的话是对的。不过，她也应当多体谅 少批评。 In a way,she is right,but she should be more considerate and less critical.
毕竟，我正尽力而为。而且，金钱井非万能呀。 After all,i'm trying my best.besides, money isn't everything.
不要抱怨你的背景 don't compain about your background
父亲：他比较不骄傲。而且，他此较有钱! He is less proud,besides he is richer
Beauty is only skin deep
我爸妈比较喜欢住在乡下 My parents prefer to live in the country.
比较干净 cleaner 比较好 nicer 比较友善 friendlier
不过最重要的是，住在乡下较安全 But above all,it's safer to live in country.
我爸妈都相信这句格 言：“安全至上。” My parents believe in the saying "Safety first"
她对我们很友善 he is friendly with us
他生活很忙 he lives a busy life
深一点的颜色会使我看起来年纪大一点罗? Do darker colors make me look older?
你有钱吗？坦率说，我很穷 Do you have any money? frankly i'm broke.
对你的年龄来说，你看起来很年轻 you look young for your age
不过，他们未必就比较快乐 however.they are not necessarily happier.
有些人穷得要命 Some people is as poor as church mice
因此，我始终记得父亲的话：“多未必 佳。” Therefore,i always remember father's words:"more is not always better"
你喜欢这些吃的么？ Do you enjoy the food?
他很小气 he is cheap,stingy
她考的很好 He did well on the exam
