目标：

Current ASM diskgroup has AU size of 1 MB. New ASM diskgroup has a different AU size of 4 MB. Can we move datafiles to a new ASM diskgroup with different AU size?

For example, use RMAN to copy datafile to the new diskgroup, then rename, switch, recover datafiles to migrate to the new disk group.
The key concern here is if we can relocate datafile to a new ASM disk group with different AU size, is there any potential risk?

The answer is:

You can move datafiles between disk groups with different AU sizes, different redundancy, etc. You can use RMAN or ASMCMD tool. In fact you can have datafiles for the same database in as many different disk groups as you like (with the same or different AU sizes).
