* There's no max window button in mac os, instead ,the "+" button resize the window to the most appropriate size.

 

[Safari]

You can change the default behavior of Safari by using Terminal. To change it back, use the code below but change true to false.

1) Quit Safari

2) Open Terminal.app

3) Enter defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true and press enter

4) Open Safari
