Maven is too complicate, and i'm not the only one said so
at the end of day, what you feel is MESS
Ivy is ok, but still not perfect
you need to maintain another ivy file, that's why i don't like it
Fant is ok, but still in a very basic level
Rake is more and more popular now, seems not in java world
Hope one day we'll have a build system for all of you, and XML is not the only format(People just hate XML, the stupid ending tag is just redundant), you have the basic program features(loop, conditional, math etc.), just feel in a natural way.
