GENERAL SUMMARY

 

Manages complex hardware programs, projects and initiativesaffecting area goals and objectives. Drives the creation andmanagement of cross-functional leadership teams; Oversees multiplecross-functional teams, defining priorities and allocation ofresources. Facilitating, coordinating and leading cross-functionalteams to complete a variety of technical program plans, tasks, andmilestones. Maintains an awareness of industry trends, businessconditions and internal processes and practices to influence thesuccess of programs and initiatives.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

•  Drives the creation and management ofcross-functional leadership teams, inclusive of EMC''s corebusiness units, software divisions and and/or third party partners,to continually develop and redefine critical program elements.Leads cross-functional priority setting and resource allocationrelative to each program, project and/or initiative. Ensures issuesare identified and resolved.

•  Participates in the development andmaintenance of technical programs that include diverse practices,services and/or initiatives. Facilitates, coordinates and leadscross-functional teams to complete technical program and/or projectplans, tasks and milestones. Ensures completion of all specificdeliverables and tactical initiatives required to supportinitiatives. May facilitate partner alignment and maintain partnerrelationships with cross-functional EMC groups to ensure successfulcompletion of program deliverables.

•  Communicates program initiatives, messaging,and status across EMC''s core business units, software divisionsand/or third party partners. Develops and manages communication andcoordination of cross functional teams across all areas. Definesand reports program roadmap, status, development issues and successmetrics and ensures effective reporting and communication.

•  Supports, manages, and influences continuousimprovement of product/solution development lifecycle process,practices and initiatives.

•  Performs other duties as required.
