EMC USD (Unified Storage Division) Central Engineering isseeking talented engineers working on system leveldevelopment. As part of EMC’s Unified StorageDivision, Central Engineering works on cutting edge development forEMC’s leading midrange storage arrays. Thisposition is within Beijing COE as part of global development teamfor Data Services Group in North Carolina, USA. Candidate must demonstrate flexibility, strong motivation andrecord of meeting aggressive deadlines as well as the ability towork as part of a cross-functional team spanning many geographicallocations.

As a team member of a group developing very sophisticatedStorage OS and Data Services features for EMC unified storageproducts/solutions, the individual is expected to work to designand develop new Storage/Data Services features/solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Work on all aspects of system software design, development andsupport

- Work with local members and remote US stakeholders towards teamgoals

- Provide white papers as appropriate to describe advancedtechnology

Education and Experience:

- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or closely related field, plusat least 10, 8, or 6 years relevant experience,depending on degree.

Required Skills:

- Excellent C/C++ and multi-thread programming experience

- Demonstrated strong ability of system level debugging anddevelopment

- Deep knowledge in Windows and/or Linux operatingsystem internals

- Good kernel mode and user mode debugging skills, familiar withWindows/Linux debug tools, strong experience on "core dumpanalysis"

- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills bothin Chinese and English
