Chrome can’t support Java 7

These days, i meet a problem about chrome Java plugin when some websites need Java plugin to run, Chrome said i should install this plugin, but it was installed may years ago.

After search in Google, I notice this issue happened after installed Java 7. There two versions, Java 6 and Java 7 are in system. The default version is Java 7. You can type “java –version” in dos command window to check this.

Chrome can’t support Java 7? I’m update Chrome now. Wait for my updates.

在控制面板中，有个JAVA的程序，JAVA选项卡中，JAVA运行时环境设置，把1.7.0_04的启用去掉即可。然后使用Chrome打开JAVA测试页，进行测试。则可以通过测试，会显示JAVA 6。

There’s a ‘JAVA’ application in windows “Control Panel”,  open it and uncheck JAVA 1.7.0_04, then use Chrome to test java by opening testjava jsp page. You’ll see it works OK and show JAVA 6.

Then close Chrome, go to “Control Panel”, open ‘JAVA’  and Check JAVA 1.7.0_04 again. At last, open Chrome and test testjava jsp page, you will it shows JAVA 7, and JAVA 7 is OK now.

关掉Chrome，再到控制面板中把1.7.0_04勾上（启用），再次打开Chrome，到JAVA测试页进行测试，则可以显示最新的JAVA 7.

update 1:

Uninstall Java 6,  have no effect.

But when open Firefox, it says need update a new Java. When installed, only Firefox is OK. Chrome can’t pass Java Test.
