使用Moblin VMWare映像

概述

在Linux或Windows工作站上加载Moblin VMWare映像的步骤如下：

1.  下载VMWare映像。

2.  下载并安装免费的VMWare播放器。

3.  使用映像启动VMWare播放器。

所需时间：20分钟。（屏幕截图）

要求

·         带有Intel图形芯片组的工作站。

·         2G空闲硬盘空间。

参阅本页末尾的故障排除部分了解常见错误。

关于VMWare映像

在Windows或Linux系统中，可以通过VMWare播放器加载Moblin VMWare映像。Moblin VMWare映像将在您的工作站的一个窗口中启动软件堆栈和用户界面。这允许您测试驱动一个映像并进行应用程序开发。

注意： VMWare可能不支持您的平台上的GL加速。这将降低构建在Clutter（Moblin Foundation的一个关键组件）上的任何应用程序或构建在OpenGL上的任何其他应用程序的性能。

步骤1：下载VMWare映像

VMWare映像可以从下载页面获取。将映像存储到一个已知地址。这个文件经过了压缩（bz2），使用之前需要解压缩。压缩后的文件大约240M，解压缩后的文件大约1.4G。

 

Linux	以下命令将解压缩文件并同一个基本名称创建一个目录： $ tar xvjf <image file>
Windows	有多种工具支持在Windows中解压缩bzip2 (bz2)文件，以下是其中一个工具： http://www.7-zip.org/

步骤2：下载并安装免费VMWare播放器

为您的操作系统下载免费的VMWare播放器。

步骤3：使用解压缩后的映像启动VMWare播放器

启动VMWare播放器并选择带有.vmx扩展名的文件。

故障排除

问题	建议
当我启动VMPlayer时，显示如下错误消息： “The virtualization capability of your processor is already in use. Disable any other running hypervisors before running VMware Player.”	从内核卸载KVM_INTEL或KVM_AMD模块。 停止KVM程序。
VMWare播放器启动时，我只能看到一个黑屏或以下消息： ... INIT: Id "x" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes INIT: Id "x" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes INIT: Id "x" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes ...	您的系统没有Intel图形芯片组。这些映像目前不支持其他芯片组。
我的鼠标光标不见了！我移动鼠标时看不见光标。有时，我能看见光标，但光标不能在屏幕顶部的工具栏中正常工作。	按Ctrl+Alt组合键。当您在VMPlayer窗口内部点击鼠标时，所有鼠标输入会进入虚拟环境，并限制在该窗口中。

Hi,
I'm testing Moblin under VMWare, and the first impression it's very good,
but I have some questions:
1.- How is the best configuration of VMW?
2.- It's possible to install VMWare tools?
3.- Can I use command line to install software?
4.- It's possible to install flash plugin?

In the future, if I am satisfied with the test, I will install it on my asus pc 900.
In this moment I'm using debian.
