同步的主要功能就是当你客户端在向服务器端发送请求的时候，你发送之后，必须要服务器端响应之后，你才可以进行下一步的操作；而异步则不同，它主要就是当你的客户端发送请求之后，如果服务器端没有响应你，那么你的客户端就是会一直发送请求给服务器端，直到服务器端响应之后才结束。同时，异步支持页面局部更新，可以传送一部分更新一部分，而同步不支持页面局部更新，只能全部传送完毕之后才更新。所以现在大部分都是异步。
