Java Python Fundamentals of Risk and Risk Management

Term 2, 2024

Major Assignment: Guidelines

Task:

You are required to select ONE case from the provided list, conduct thorough research, and write a report addressing the following points:

1.   Describe what has happened in the selected case (15%)

2.   Identify the types of risks involved for this event (give your reasons) and link them to all relevant act/regulations/standards (20%)

3.   Discuss the primary causes or factors that led to the incident (15%)

4.   From your point of view, which specific risk poses the greatest concert for this incident? Provide a reasoned explanation for your choice. You can put yourself as a risk manager representing the company, its counterparty, or the regulatory body (25%)

5.   Propose actionable management strategies or steps to manage the identified risk in step 4 (25%)

The project report should be no more than 1,500 words (excluding reference, appendices, and cover page). All the reference should be clearly documented. The due date is at 11:59, Sunday 27 July 2024.
