The Wadhwani AI Bollworm Counting Challenge on Zindi aims to develop models that accurately count bollworms in cotton farm images. With a closing date of December 4, 2022, and cash prizes for the top three positions, participants have access to approximately 13K images collected since 2018. Wadhwani AI Bollworm Counting Challenge

背景

By counting the number of bollworms caught in such traps, farmers can estimate potential bollworm infestation to make informed decisions about whether pesticides should be applied to minimize future damage.

Part2时间安排

Competition closes on 4 December 2022.

Final submissions must be received by 11:59 PM GMT.

We reserve the right to update the contest timeline if necessary.

1st Place: €7 500 EUR
2nd Place: €4 500 EUR
3rd Place: €3 000 EUR

Part4赛题描述

The objective is to use our training data – data captured by farmers and farm extension workers since 2018 – to build models that accurately count the number of bollworms present in the image.

Part5比赛数据

Data has been collected on cotton farms across India since 2018. In all, there are approximately 13K images. These images were captured by a variety of different app versions, by a variety of farmers and farm extension workers.
