  • copy local file to remote server
    • scp filename user@server:new_filename
    • scp -r dir user@server:new_dir
    • it will make one connection from local to remote
  • copy remote file to local
    • scp user@server:dir/file_name local_dir/new_filename
    • default dir is current working dir
    • I was thinking maybe we could use scp user@server:file user@local:newfile, this would produce two connections, one from local to server and the other from server to local, could be problematic.

<br />cat就是简单地将文件全部打印到标准输出上（除非输出重定向），并结束进程。<br />more也是将文件打印到标准输出，满页打印，按空格键翻页，如果到达末页，结束more进程。<br />less和more相似，也能浏览首页之外的内容，一般使用方向键导航，到达文件尾时提示End of file，在光标处输入q进程结束。<br />但是如果重定向输入到文件或者管道之类的，没有区别。
