Last weekend, I was shocked by my ignorance and regreted for my silence. I have been in China for more than thirty years. However, I did not familiar with my hometown. I did not introduce the the old, rising city well. And when she an immigrant say that Chinese goverments don't care human rights. I haven't told her that huge changes have happened in the past few years and China is not what she said.
Then, after lunch I came into the library to improve my English and knowledge.
I picked up a book ROBERT FROST randomly. I think I should spend a few time on read, write and conversation. For myself and for China.
I read story about Lillian Hellman. I read the author Richard Poirier. I am opening my world and seeing the outside world. I like this famous saying "I will not cut my conscience to fit this year’s fashion".
