Is science a monster or an angel?

 

Is science a monster? Certainly, I think it is true. As we know that in history, each war broken out was the science had had more or less development. For example, the dynamite’s invention made more people become victim in the wars and more land and houses be destroyed. In the usual life, science gives us too much help like the elevator (lift) to the high buildings, planes to the long distances, also the microphone to make a speech now, etc.

At the same time, is the science an angel? I also believe that’s really true. Because we can see everywhere the scientific and technological products serve for us. For instance, the electricity is invented for us conveniently to use the light, computer, TV, icebox (refrigerator), and so on. And the electromagnetic waves can make us easily talk and take short messages by mobile phones. I think the telephone and the internet of computer gives more people happiness and smiles.

Between the monster and the angel, I don’t know how to evaluate the science’s advantages and disadvantages. Though the science takes a lot of bad news in the world, I believe that kind-hearted people are the most. If the science can be used by the good persons, it should be an angel in our lives. I think that it should be many more people’s desirability.
