Customers will not tolerate an unsanitary restaurant, and neither will the health inspector.

unsanitary: dirty and likely to cause disease. for example: unsanitary conditions.

tolerate: to allow people to do, say, or believe something without criticizing or punishing them.

We simply will not tolerate vigilante groups on our streets.

inspector: an official whose job is to check that something is satisfactory and that rules are being obeyed.
