CA961 arrived @Munich @17:00, which was earlier than the planned time, and then we met the airportliner driver around terminal 1, he is a nice and talkative black boy, asking me whether i can tell a Japanese from Chinese or Korean if they don't speak out, :)
When another two passengers from San Francisco arrived, the shuttle took us to Best Western Atrium Hotel after an hour's drive. It cost 49 Euro for us two, but cost 5 minutes to find 1 Euro coin for the change, we didn't know whether we should say "keep the change" or not, :)
The girl at the receiption counter is very beautiful, but is labelled as "Frau Lorenz", what a pity! ;) After checking the booking and our passports, we settled in #616 and #223 respectively, but found a problem soon that the power socket is different from China, AND supermarkets will be closed on Sunday & Monday, which is also a holiday[Pfingsten]. This meant we cannot recharge the laptop till Tue, if we don't buy an adapter today. But unfortunately when we led to the supermarket nearby in the sudden and heavy rain, we found it is hard for us to reach it before 8:00pm without a car. So we came back, half soaked, and filled ourselves with instant noodle we brought from NKG.
Thank God there is CNN channel on the TV, otherwise the TV set will be no more than a clock.

Though i tried to go to sleep in local time @ 10:00pm to adapt the time difference, i still waked up at 2:00am and felt hungry, Oh! Morgen! pls come earlier!
And found Porn AD on TV at this time in midnight. The time difference gives me the chance to know this.

we rented two bikes and had a tour in the Altstadt, which seems to be rather far from where we are, but only 10 min ride away. There happened to be a Missa in the Dom St. Peter. The Cathedral looks delicate from the outside view of its architecture, but more splendid when you are in it and join the rite in person. The voice of chorus, mingled with the sound of the pipe organ, did exalt your very soul to the top of the Dom, near the windows of Mosaic above with the dimmed visions of the Saints.
Back from the old town, we tried to find one of the apartments for rent, recommended by the tourist Information. A handsome boy helped me to locate Isarstrasse #66 though he can speak little english, and i little Deutsche. He is so clever that we understood each other with one or two attempts, and he led me to the very place. Amazing? eh.
I asked him whether he likes the Pfingsten, he said it is cool that "no school for twei weeks", :)
After that we went to the China Restaurant, wishing they can help us more to find an apartments or provide any more information on it. In fact, they did the latter, telling us there's always rent information on the Wednesday's newspaper which we can resort to. Besides, the girl said she may lend her apartment to us when she is back to China from the beginning of June to the end of July, if we have not found one yet then. We do appreciate the help from oversea Chinese here, esp. they told us where we can buy nice rice as well.
Besides, I bought two postcards of Regensburg, one is the photo of the Dom, the other is a lovely map of Regensburg -- Altstadt itself. i didn't bother to post them to China, for it cost another 1 Euro for each card, and i don't think it is a bad idea to bring them back to China with me instead.

We decided to have a dinner in the China Restaurant. Chinese food is a kind of Lux for people here, but even more for us here.

Riding the same bikes, we passed SV building by Osttangente Str., and then went to the Bahnhof, and got ticket information for Salzburg and Wien.
On the way back, we found another Chinese Restaurant named China Town along the Donau River, but when we tried to talk with them in Chinese, they switched to English immediately. However we are told that rice could be bought there. They turned out to be Thais when we looked again at the Logo outside as we left there. :)
It's interesting that the TV or radio talks in German but sings in English.
