How to change a filed name in Crystal Report

1. Open the report file (.rpt)

2. In the main menu on VS, click “Crystal Report” –> “Field Explorer”

3. On the Field Explorer pane, right click “Database Fields” –> “Set Datasource Location”, choose the changed fields and map them the new ones.

4. If the above doesn’t work, try selecting “Verify Database” on the right click popup menu, it will allow you to change the field names.
