The differentiation type is a specification used internally that defines which characteristics are used to differentiate otherwise identical objects.

The differentiation type is a combination of organizational units or other distinguishing definition proportions.

Example

• 1 Company code

• 10 Company code, product type, currency

• 14 Energy type

Use

The differentiation type is the criterion according to which the business partner relationships of a business partner relationship category are subdivided in greater detail. You can thus make a finer differentiation as to the relationship a business partner has with another business partner.

 

 

BP Role Category

Attribute of a BP role.

Use

The role category makes it possible for SAP and customer programs to program on the BP role.

Dependencies

The role category depends on a differentiation type.

Any number of BP roles can be assigned to a role category, with one role always acting as the standard role per role category.

It is possible to control the update of a role by assigning a role category to a role.

'Organization' partner cat. relev. for relationship/role def

Indicates that business partners of the business partner category "Organization" are possible in the current relationship category/role definition category.

When you create a relationship/role definition, the system checks whether the partner has one of the selected business partner categories.

 

[问题]下面Role Category和BP Category,最终都是去检查BP Category, 谁的优先级高些，为什么要系统要这样设置？
