摘要:
We revisit the possibility that the top quark forward-backward asymmetryarises from the on-shell production and decay of scalar top partners totop-antitop pairs with missing transverse energy. Although the asymmetry isproduced by t-channel exchange of a light mediator, the model remainsunconstrained by low energy atomic parity violation tests. An interestingconnection to the active neutrino sector through a Type-I seesaw operator helpsto evade stringent monojet constraints and opens up a richer colliderphenomenology. After performing a global fit to top data from both the Tevatronand the LHC, we obtain a viable region of parameter space consistent with allphenomenological and collider constraints. We also discuss the discoverypotential of a predicted monotop signal and related lepton charge asymmetry atthe LHC.
