本文介绍了SharePoint Portal Server的安装步骤，包括安装基于NTFS格式的Windows Server 2003、IIS 6.0（安装时注意取消勾选Frontpage server extensions并勾选ASP.Net）、Windows Server 2003更新和补丁、带Service Pack 3a的SQL Server 2000，还要确保全文搜索功能正常，最后安装Windows SharePoint Services和SharePoint Portal Server 2003。

1. Install Windows Server 2003 based on NTFS format;

2. Install IIS 6.0
(1) Click start and select manager your server, a popup windows form will be display;
(2) Please note: Uncheck Frontpage server extensions and Check ASP.Net during the installation process;

3. Install Windows Server 2003 updates and patches
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

4. Install SQL Server 2000 with Service Pack 3a
Please make sure full-text search function works fine.

5. Install Windows SharePoint Services

6. Install SharePoint Portal Server 2003
