Java program to find the largest element in array

Given an array of numbers, write a java program to find the largest element in the given array.

Example:

int[] a = {1, 5, 3, 9, 2, 8, 2}
Largest Element: 9

    public static void findLargestElement(int[] a) {
        if (a == null || a.length == 0) {
            return;
        }
        int largest_element = a[0];
        for (int i = 1; i < a.length; i++) {
            if (a[i] > largest_element) {

    }
