本文介绍了一种解决Ubuntu 10.4版本更新源过期问题的方法，通过更换官方提供的old-release更新源地址，使得老旧版本的Ubuntu系统能够继续获得必要的软件包更新。

第一种：

sudo vim /etc/resolv.conf

添加nameserver 8.8.8.8

ubuntu10.4的更新源因过期无法更新的解决方法

ubuntu10.4到2016年早已停止了更新支持，ubuntu也不再维护了。官方源以及第三方源包括163，sohu等也不再维护。那是不是意味着这个版本的ubuntu只能放弃使用？

当然不是的！！！

为了解决这个问题，ubuntu提供了old-release的方案，通过命令行更新源如下：

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list，打开源列表文件，把里面的地址全删除，然后换上如下的地址，如果你是其他版本的，把lucid替换即可。
