android中使用fontawesome

1.下载并引入ttf文件

ttf文件下载地址： https://github.com/FortAwesome/Font-Awesome/blob/master/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.ttf

在android应用中创建assets资源文件夹并将上面的复制进去。

2.在strings.xml中加入fontawesome字符。

    <string name="app_name">fontawesome</string>
    <string name="fa_beer">&#xf0fc;</string>
    <string name="fa_car">&#xf1b9;</string>
</resources>

3.在布局文件中加入TextView

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
    android:layout_width="match_parent"
    android:layout_height="match_parent"
    android:paddingBottom="@dimen/activity_vertical_margin"
    android:paddingLeft="@dimen/activity_horizontal_margin"
    android:paddingRight="@dimen/activity_horizontal_margin"
    android:paddingTop="@dimen/activity_vertical_margin"
    tools:context="com.shidaping.fontawesome.MainActivity">

    <TextView
        android:id="@+id/textView1"
        android:layout_width="wrap_content"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:textColor="@android:color/black"
        android:textSize="50dp"
        android:text="@string/fa_beer" />
</RelativeLayout>

设置text为@string/fa_beer

4.设置TextView的字体

    private TextView textView;
    @Override

        textView = (TextView)this.findViewById(R.id.textView1);
        Typeface typeface = Typeface.createFromAsset(this.getAssets(),"fontawesome-webfont.ttf");
        textView.setTypeface(typeface);
    }
