some note about js

1. return false in js event function attached to a when it have a href link to another page, the return false

dose not work in FF

it is not the reason

 

elms[i].onclick = function(){
               ...
                showPopWin(this.href,width,height,null,true);

               return false;
            }

 

var originalTitle = "";
function showPopWin(url, width, height, returnFunc, showCloseBox) {
   ...
   
    // set the url
    gPopFrame.src = url;
    gReturnFunc = returnFunc;
    ...
    originalTitle = window.frames["popupFrame"].document.title;
    document.getElementById("popupTitle").innerHTML = originalTitle;
    window.setTimeout("setPopTitle();", 600);
}

 

if you have a frame operation in js code

originalTitle = window.frames["popupFrame"].document.title;

this will lead to anohter request, then the return false after this location will not excute ;

 

 

2. IE not support operation dynamic aded node before them added.

 

3. swfojbect not work normaly in ff 3.5, must palce the js in header
