最初的计算机是用来解决特定的数学问题.首先，将某个特定的数学问题，分解成一些有限的运算步骤。然后，制造特定的线路或机器，用这些机器或线路去实现这些运算步骤。最终得到答案。这里说的机器或线路就是“固定程序计算机(fixed-program computer)".然而这不是我们需要的，我们需要的是这样一种机器，我们可以通过某种方式让它做所有我们想要它做的事情，而不是每当遇到新的问题，再去重新去设计然后制造一个新的机器。我们理想的机器就是“存储程序计算机(stored-program co
