Doing anything alone for a long period could be tiring and boring, especially when you are focusing on some tough and a little bit boring stuff, like, algorithm…

I have been working on ‘introduction to algorithms 2nd’ for about two weeks - Yes I have to admit that I didn’t pay enough attention to this critical and fundamental technique before, which sounds like a crime for software developers. I’m happy that I can recall most of the content of the book (for first 10+ chapters) and the current reading speed is fast.

But one thing is true: it is hard for me to keep a high level of motivation for a long period when I’m studying ALONE… I don’t have strong source of inspiration. Accidentally I found sth. about Google Code Jam from Internet, and I think I found the community that I need to get myself involved in – I am greatly inspired by this community: the algorithm population is huge and the activities around algorithm are always the most grande, always!

My passion has been kindled by this community... So, finding the right community can help you keep your motivation a lot.

Um, another possibility of my life :D
