I just saw the above article from 优快云. I totally agree with the author. I would say it is especially true if one has chances to receive U.S. style education.

Communication skills espectially public speaking skills play a critical role in both your academic and career success in U.S. It is not about the culture differences; it is about one’s development quality which is a cross-culture issue.

It is a world of people instead of the world of technology, though the latter is really important. Presetting yourself well can make you outstanding in the prosperous demographic market, no matter where you are.

So, don’t be a SIGGRAPH teapot full of dumplings!
