本书籍虽未达到期望中的实用性，但提供了丰富的理论基础。读者从中了解到硬件与软件之间的联系，并通过指令集的角度理解了软件的本质。
I bought the English version of the book. But actually I read most of it in a Chinese version.
In one word, I didn't get what I want from this book, not because this book is not good, actually it is perfect. It was because what I want leans to pragmatic, for development. And this book leans to theory basiclly.
Anyway, I've learnt too much from this book. Now, to me, the hardware is not far away from software. I also have seen the footstep of the software -- by instructions. : )
