Note:

(a) The list is self-made based on course 18.01, so it might overlook something or differ from some other coursewares.

(b) Run ‘MIT_Normalizer.bat’ in the ‘static_resources’ directory to regularize the file names.

Course Outline

A timetable telling you what to do and when a task is due. They usually have such a name: schedulef06.pdf

Problem Set

The problem set section is typically divided into 2 parts. The 1st part guides you to the exact sections of the textbook, exercise, Note concerning every lecture. The 2nd part is a series of puzzles but unfortunatly without solutions.

They usually have such names: ps2a.pdf, prfinalsol.pdf

Lecture

Every lecture has a lecture note so it can be forbidding to merge them together. Luckily the courseware also provide us with lecture notes on unit basis containing several lectures in each. So we will mainly turn to files named unit1_sept08.pdf and unit1_review.pdf and mix them to get all lectures materials.

Exercise & Solution

As the name suggests, they are exercise and the corresponding solutions.They usually have such names:

PreExam, Exam and Solution

Just like exercises and solutions. They usually have such names: prexam1asolv2.pdf, prexam1b.pdf, prfinalsol.pdf, exam1.pdf

Textbook

The professor will usually recommend 1 or more textbooks, which will be used as reading material in the Problem Set.
