talk about a special event

last year I got my first full-time job in my life so I invited some of my best friends to have a meal outside. I chose a nice restaurant catering for Thai food because all of us are fond of this type of food.

speaking of why it's important to me, firstly I'd spent much time and efforts to the get the job. It was computer programmer of our smart phone. Well the company I applied for is an international technology company which offers the ideal salary so that it's quite competitive to get it.

I'd gone through 3 rounds of interviews. fortunately, I got the offer finally. In addition, the main quarter is in shanghai which means I had to leave my hometown and fight for myself in a new city. Actually back to that time I was both excited and nervous.

That's why I held a party with my friends. In the following years, we might have few chances to meet each other.

We had a great time together. To my surprise, they prepared some nice gifts for me, like small gadgets, a wallet and a watch. Meanwhile, they booked a big cake on the top of which they wrote good luck in red. The moment I saw, I was so touched. I'm glad that for these years I had their company. We'd been through ups and downs together. For me, they are like my real families. During the meal, we made a toast one after another to express our good wishes to each other. To be honest, on that day, I was a little bit drunk but I felt quite warm deep in the heart.

So generally speaking, that's the most memorable celebration I had.

talk about a hitchhike

I'd like to talk about a day I rarely spent money which is memorable experience.

That happened on our trip in y n with my friends last year. On the third day of our journey, we decided to go to a remote village which is said to have the stunning scenery.

But there's a problem that it's not easily accessible by the public transport which means I might spend two days on the way to get there. So we mustered up guts to try a new way of travelling that is hitchhike.

Actually we'd seen that a lot on some TV shows so we thought we could also give a shot. Then we walked to a motorway that leads to all directions and put our thumbs up.

After a short while, to our surprise, a jeep stopped in front of us. When the windows rolled down, we saw a young couple who looked quite kind. After enquiring our destination, they warmly gave us a ride because we headed for the same place.

On the way, we chatted a lot. I learned that they were working in the big cities. But they were bored with the hustle and bustle city life so they quit and opened a small lodge in that village. Though they couldn't earn as much as before, they enjoyed the slow-pace life.

On the way, they told us plenty of local legends or anecdotes and even pulled over on some stunning beauty spots where few tourists could find. We took lots of photos. In the evening, we arrived at our lodge and said goodbye to them. So you see, on that day, I didn't spend any money. Until now, we still keep in contact with one another.

talk about a park

as for what it looks like, the garden has a stunning natural scenery. There's a river going through the park. The water is crystal clear and can reflect the white clouds and the blue sky when the sun comes out. In my childhood, my father took me to go fishing in the river. At the bank of the river, grow rows of willows which look greenery in summer. several pavilions are available constructed on the rockery for tourists to have a rest while enjoying the landscape. In the short distance, sit mountains where people usually go climbing on the nice days.

Speaking of what I can do there, there are plenty. For example, in spring I enjoy flying kites on the grassland with my friends. When I was kid, I used to make kites by myself and have a competition with my friends to see whose kite could fly higher. In winter when the temperature drops, the river turns into an impromptu ice rink where there are a lot of activities available, like skating, sleigh and so forth.

the time I spent in the park is the most important memories for me. It's pity that we seldom/ rarely visit here cos I'm studying in another city. However, every time when I come back, I usually invite my friends to go jogging in the garden.

but these years, the park faces some serious problems. Firstly, I often see some uncivilized behavior. For example, some people don't have sense of environmental protection, who just throw some rubbish on the river. So the lake isn't as clear as it used to be. Few people would like to linger at the bank to appreciate the scenery. What's more, some benches are occupied by the people who like to sleep and snore their leisurely afternoon away.

When it comes to how to make it better, the garden administration are supposed to put up some signs to warn people not to do some uncivilized behaviors. Otherwise they gonna get punishment or fine. Additionally, more benches should be placed cos the dominant tourists consist of the elders who are too feeble to walk for a long distance.

talk about a special event

last labor's day ,one of my father's friends came to my home to visit my parents. He settles down in America for a decade and works for a big international company. , he found time to visit my family. because he was on business trip back to china

hearing the news, my father was so excited. He did the cleaning of our house and decorated the wall with some photos.

What's more, he got some tea which was this uncle's favorite. On the early morning, my mom went to the supermarket to buy the fresh fruits and vegetable. After coming back, she spent the whole morning in the kitchen preparing for all kinds of desserts.

As for me, I helped them with something. In case they couldn't find the location of our house, my dad and I went downstairs to pick them up. After a short while, he showed up with his wife and 3-year-old boy. To my delight, they also bought me a gift, a small electronic gadget.

For lunch, we had hotpot which was also what the uncle loved. As he said, he hadn't tried it for a long time since he moved to America. In the afternoon, they were busy catching up what was going on with one another. Sometimes I brought them some tea. But my main responsibility was to take care of the little boy while they were chatting. To be honest, the boy was a little bit annoying. For instance, he begged me to play some really childish games with him. As a host, I had to make sure that he had a good time.

so I had no time to study. Additionally, he was quite curious about everything. I'd got a collection of toys based on my favorite superheroes. Without getting my approval, he took them out and played. What annoyed me most was that he took the spider man apart which is my favorite. But still I had to hold my temper with a smile.

In a couple of hours, they left. Although I like the uncle who is quite amiable and knowledgeable, I had to admit that the kid really wore me out.
