Block Recovery 会考虑到可以使用的增量备份么?
解决方案:
包含坏块的datafile的备份必须是"full backups" or "Incremental level 0 backups"
Block Recovery 不会使用 'incremental level 1' 备份,
因为不完全扫描backupset的话,我们不知道需要恢复的block是否存在。
这么做可能导致资源的浪费,若是块不在增量备份中的话。
因此,blockrecover命令只会使用归档日志和备份来完成恢复工作。
New from 11gR1 onward
- Flashback logs are as well searched for good copies of the block, but for RMAN to be able to search the flashback logs
for good copies of corrupt blocks, Flashback Database must be enabled on the target database.
When performing block media recovery, RMAN automatically searches the flashback logs, if they are available,
for the required blocks before searching backups.
- Command BLOCKRECOVER is replaced by RECOVER BLOCK .
