云计算的革新

一直觉得云计算只是原有分布式计算的延伸，从技术角度来讲没有太多革新。

最近读到 James Hamilton's Blog 中的一段话：

• Cloud means the price is advertised rather than negotiated. 
  
• Cloud means you make an API call rather than talking to a sales representative.
  
• Cloud means it’s a simple API and you don’t need professional services or a customer support contact.
  
• Cloud means its running NOW rather than tomorrow morning when the administration team comes in.

读完后如梦初醒，也许这就是所谓的商业模式吧。
