Comply与conform

——DO-178B/ED-12B学习笔记之十

 

 

    在DO-178B/ED-12B的术语表中，没有定义comply(以及compliance)与conform（以及compliance）。但是这两个单词的出现频率很高，因此有必要准确把握他们在DO-178B/ED-12B中的含义。

    在该文件中，comply的对象有：

    根据出现的频度，comply的对象大多是指上一层次的软件生存周期数据，如high-level requirements要comply的对象是system requirements，而它又是low-level requirements要comply的对象。而conform的对象大多是指开发标准。

但是，他们也有同样的对象，即DO-178B/ED-12B和开发标准。

在《英汉大词典》（陆谷孙主编）中，comply译为遵从、依从、顺从、服从，conform译为（1）遵照、适应；（2）相似、一致、符合；（3）顺从。按此译义，我们可以体会这两个词的细微差别。

该文件的法文版除了个别地方（如1.1，1.3，2.2.2），把这两个单词都翻译为同一个词conformer（以及相关的名词）。这与英法词典是一致的。
