How to collect ilom Snapshot via Web GUI

To  run  the  ILOM  Snapshot  utility  using  the  ILOM  web  interface:

1.  Log  in  to  the  ILOM  web  interface  as  follows:

                a.  Open  a  browser  window  and  enter  the  URL  of  the  ILOM  SP.

                          For  example:            http://IP_address  <http://ip_address/>

                b.  Enter  your  user  name  and  password.

                The  ILOM  web  interface  appears,  in  case  of  blades  choose  theblade  or  CMM

2.  Select  the  Maintenance  -->  Data  Collector  tabs.

                The  Data  Collector  window  appears.

3.  Select  the  desired  Data  Set:  Normal  or  FRUID

4. If you want to collect only log files from the data set,click the Enabled checkbox.
    ★Don't click itnormally★
5. If you want to encrypt the output file, click the Enabled checkbox.
    ★Don't click itnormally★

6. 

Select  one  of  the  following  methods  to  transfer  the  output  file:

|  Browser

|  SFTP

|  FTP

7.  Click  Run.

A  Save  As  dialog  box  appears.

8.  In  the  dialog  box,  specify  the  directory  to  which  to  save  the  file 

and  the  file  name.

9.  Click  OK.

The  file  is  saved  to  the  specified  directory.
