Tomcat启动时没有显示默认的welcome-file问题

  使用ssm框架在启动tomcat时没有显示web.xml文件配置的<welcome-file>index.jsp</welcome-file>文件.
最初的springMVC配置的是:

<servlet>
    <servlet-name>DispatcherServlet</servlet-name>
    <servlet-class>org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet</servlet-class>
    <init-param>
      <param-name>contextConfigLocation</param-name>
      <param-value>classpath:spring/spring-mvc.xml</param-value>
    </init-param>
  </servlet>
  <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>DispatcherServlet</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern>
  </servlet-mapping>

浏览器打开显示的是:

并没有显示出index.jsp页面,
原因是因为web.xml配置的DispatcherServlet拦截的是/*,任何请求都会被其拦截,简单点只需要修改web.xml配置文件如下:

<servlet>
    <servlet-name>DispatcherServlet</servlet-name>
    <servlet-class>org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet</servlet-class>
    <init-param>
      <param-name>contextConfigLocation</param-name>
      <param-value>classpath:spring/spring-mvc.xml</param-value>
    </init-param>
  </servlet>
  <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>DispatcherServlet</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>*.do</url-pattern>
  </servlet-mapping>

这种类似于struts2的.action形式即可.
感觉还有别的解决办法,请各位大佬赐教.
