以前没发现有这个问题，这次装了ubuntu10.04后发现在evince或者firefox打印文件的时候，弹出的gtk的打印窗口会有很长的时间不知道在干什么，只看到status上有一个“getting printer information“，大概的要10几秒吧，反正是不爽！
google到了以下的解决方法。
Workaround:
For now you may disable cups to listen on "/var/run/
cups/cups.sock" by commenting the line including it in cupsd.conf and leave only "Listen localhost:631" line.
