本文介绍了解决Nagios发送邮件通知时出现30秒超时的问题。通过调整Nagios配置文件中的notification_timeout参数，将其从默认的30秒增加到120秒或更长，可以有效解决此问题。

Nagios is not sending notifications via email.

In the logs:

cat /var/log/messages |grep notification

Solution / Answer:

The default time-out setting of 30 seconds is too short, for MTA to process request. Change the default time to 120 seconds or more.
